This will be my 37th year diving the Philippines & this is your chance to experience the fabulous Philippine Islands, noted for having the greatest species diversification in the world. I have been diving at least 2 months per year, every year, in the Philippines & have dived over 260 islands. Dumaguete and Apo Island are VERY special!! You will experience the wonderful hospitality of the Filipino people who care for all your needs & nobody does it better than Atlantis Resorts! My divemasters are great critter finders & there are so many great critters to find!! Dauin (town where Atlantis is located) is surrounded by sandy dive sites (muck diving elsewhere) & is inhabited by all the exotic critters on your wish list; every color of ghost pipefish, frogfish, flamboyant cuttlefish, seahorses, mandarins, leaf fish, so many species of nudibranchs, crabs, shrimp, schools of fish, etc. The house reef is excellent! Apo Island, the model sanctuary to the world, showcased by Chicago's Shedd Aquarium for their $49 million, 15,000 sq. ft., 8 yr. in the planning, superb WILD REEF exhibit, is approx. 35 min. by boat. Apo has fantastic walls, large schools of fish, very diverse corals, exotic fish, Clownfish City, so many turtles, etc.

Atlantis has a superb chef & dining is 5 stars! Food is abundant w the best tropical fruits, incredible desserts, a cappuccino machine!, fresh seafood, roast beef, pork, chicken, Filipino, Japanese, Continental, American & vegetarian dishes served w style. Dumaguete is a port city, very clean, home of Silliman U. with many side trips to experience. Great shopping, inexpensive spas, & fun tours can be enjoyed in Dumaguete; or in Manila if you chose to spend time there. English is widely spoken & Americans are loved. NO MALARIA!

DETAILS:

  • The trip price is $3,536 per person, double occupancy, and includes 14 nights at Atlantis, 13 days diving, 3 excellent meals per day, unlimited scheduled boat diving, dive master, marine sanctuary fees, tanks, weights, & unlimited Internet access.
  • Single supplement is $625ish.
  • NOT included: Transfers on domestic flight from Manila to Dumaguete RT and van ride to Atlantis, and back to airport or hotel in Manila are approx. $230.
  • NOT included: International airfares, airport taxes, meals not at Atlantis, tips, phone calls alcoholic or soft drinks, equipment rental, nitrox fills, land tours, etc.
  • Space is limited to 12 divers.
  • $1000 WILL HOLD YOUR RESERVATION. If you wish to add or subtract days, we can adjust.
  • Lynn Funkhouser has been diving at least 2 months per year, every year, in the Philippine Islands (PI) since 1976 & has dived over 250 islands. This is a favorite! She will be handling all your questions & reservations.
  • Please check your passport to be sure you have at least 6 months before it expires from your trip return date!
