Tubbataha is the first (1992) and one of only two UNESCO World Heritage Marine Park Sites! It is considered to be that SPECIAL!!! It is 100 nautical miles from Puerto Princesa, Palawan, in the middle of the Sulu Sea, noted for 200' visibility, BIG animals, BIG schools of fish, mantas, sharks, tuna, rays, pristine coral reefs, and turtles (I stopped counting at 50 turtles on 1 dive last trip). My last trip I had a whale shark on 3 dives one day. Can only dive Tubbataha Mar. thru 2nd week in June so opportunities are limited.

You will experience the wonderful hospitality of the Filipino people who care for all your needs. My divemasters are great critter finders & there are so many great critters to find!! In addition to all the big animals & huge schools of fish, there are many species of nudibranchs, frogfish, ghost pipefish, cuttlefish, octopus, seahorses, leaf fish, crabs, shrimp, exotic fish, etc.

The Azores liveaboard has 10 Crew Members, is 107' long, 18' beam, speed-10 knots, 8 staterooms for 16 guests, 1 double & 1 twin bed in all rooms, air conditioning, ensuite toilet, sink, & shower, lots of storage. Amenities include a hot tub, entertainment center w TV/DVD/CD stereo player, & assortment of movies. Atlantis is known for their superb chefs. Themed dinners reflect the fine dining you have come to expect from Atlantis including 'Filipino Delights', 'Seafood dinner', 'Carvery night', 'Asian Fusion Cuisine', etc. Complimentary local drinks include San Miguel Beer & Tanduay Rhum, some of the best in the world, plus Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite, teas, coffee, juice, etc.

Great shopping, inexpensive spas, & fun tours can be enjoyed in Manila if you chose to spend time there. English is widely spoken & Americans are loved in the Philippines. NO MALARIA!

DETAILS:

  • The trip price is $2,975 in deluxe stateroom, $3,205 in Owners Suite, double occupancy, & includes 7 nights on the Azores, 5 1/2 days diving, 3 excellent meals per day, snacks, unlimited scheduled boat diving, dive master, tanks, weights.
  • Transfers on domestic flight from Manila to Puerto Princessa RT and van ride to Atlantis Azores are approx. $231 per person.
  • NOT included in trip price are international airfares, airport taxes, meals not at Atlantis, imported alcoholic drinks, tips, phone calls, equipment rental, nitrox fills, land tours, and Marine Park Sanctuary fee.
  • Space is limited to 14 divers.
  • $1000 WILL HOLD YOUR RESERVATON.
  • This trip can be combined with Atlantis Dumaguete Resort Dive Trip.
